N64 RGB Amp Wiki

Sorry to say this but I think this picture http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=av:njmamp3.jpg is placed wrong in that section. If you look very close at the other pictures you will see that the PCB don't have the IC socket.
Someone to correct me if I am wrong.

What's the page that's referencing that image? It's worth mentioning that quite commonly ICs will be mounted to a perf board like that without a socket or other dedicated connector. I do it all the time with 555 timers, especially since I don't have to have every pin connected to something.

The pic is a prototype for my next NES RGB amp...  :-X
