hello
is there any advantage to loading a game via SINGLE DISK .xdf/.dim   VERSUS    .hds/.hdf??
one disk either way..so no swapping etc

quality?
speed?
it seems like the sizes of the .hds are greater than the .xdf .....better graphics?
or just extra stuff to help load .hds/.hdf etc?
thanks

 Hi CraigAnderson !

.xdf/.dim = floppy disk images
.hds/.hdf = hard drive images

Games always load noticeably faster from hard drive than from floppy disk. Otherwise there is no difference because the same files are used in both instances.
