32X Play import

Hi,
Please help me
I have a Megadrive jap with 60/70hz switch mod on bord and a Pal 32X with no mod.
Can I play 32X import games using only the switch mod on the Megadrive?
What can I do if I can't?

The 32X should use the Megadrive setup for its country settings, it probably does the same with the sync rate setting but I have not needed to use mine to switch sync.
