Another MIDI card

After I built a Midiori 1.1, a 2.2 and a variant of the Midiori 2.2 with onboard synth I decided to make a card with through-hole components that looks more like the original CZ-6BM1 because I think it looks cool.
I used the schematics from the NFGGAMES file archive, photos of the CZ-6BM1 and board edge cuts from the Midiori project.
Slot cover is still in the works.

I'll upload the KiCAD project to Github after some more testing (although I don't have the equipment to test the tape sync part).
Not sure if it would make sense for anyone else to build one of those because the YM3802 is hard to find. And also for the other ICs I had to shop at different places.

Project is on https://github.com/hkr/cz-m1d1.
Does anyone know any existing software for the X68000 that I could use to test MIDI input?

Got the 3D printed cover plate. It fits pretty well. It's based on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2582761.

Thank you for this! Looks like what Ive been wanting for a long time. I take it the parts sources are in the GitHub, so Hopefully I'll be able to find a YM3802-X?

Maybe a program called XTracker but I can't find it just saw a Japan related video of it in action. I think X68000 Music Pro68k may support midi in. Not 100% sure tho.

Sorry, the parts sources are not in github, however I could probably get you my mouser BOM.
Mouser has most parts except for 2 or 3 74LS ICs and the YM3802-X.
I got the YM3802-X used from China but I don't think that source had any left.

Yep that YM3802-X is very hard to find. If I put my hands on some I'll let you know. That mouser BOM will be much appreciated because I would like to get started on one. I'm also interested in building your other Midiori/MT-32pi project as well.

Pro68k is in the V4 hdd image under /music i believe if you want to try it out to see if it has midi in. It's a pretty cool synth. I'll keep hunting around for more midi programs although they are pretty scarce for a very capable machine.

https://www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=9d6abc25b6 should have all parts except:
3 pin header + jumper, 74ALS00 (digikey has it), 74LS38 (jameco or ebay), 74LS133 (jameco or ebay), 74LS260 (ebay), YM3802-X (?)
