Open Source Hardware X68000

Hi,

Is there any opensource hardware available for the X68000?

For the Atari and Amiga 68K systems there is currently plenty of opensource hardware and home brew.
Is this also the case for X68000?

I can imagine that things like MIDI boards, 68030 accelerator boards are something that could be interesting.

Feel free to check out my ram expansion on github. It is fully open source under MIT license.

I produce and sell them, and so do others on the Internet. The goal was to make more RAM and not get scammed on buying crusty old boards with unreal prices.

I just read something about this, as I just was too late for a midi card on Yahoo.

I would like to see someone make an Open Source X68000 someday. So people who don't want to spend over $1000+ on an original model can get one to make themselves. With projects like NES-cessity or OpenTENDO, you need certain chips from an NES to power it. Whenever the PiStorm can support the X68000, maybe someone could use that instead of removing a Motorola 68000 from a donor X68000.

You have a X68000 core on the MiSTer, which I got up and running.
I have the MiSTer PI Hat for MT32 emulation as well, it is really a nice start with X68000.

But I'm now into getting the real thing. I personally believe the real thing is the full experience as it was back in the day.

I forgot about the MiSTer core. While that's a good option for a lot of people, I'm mainly talking about original hardware possibly being made open source by the community. Like the open source projects I mentioned in my earlier post.
