Hi Guys!

I keep looking for a solution to replace the expensive and rare Sharp Trackball CZ-8NT1.

These days someone came with an interesting device on YAJ:

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u1036042550

A Hori trackball for famicom adapted for X68000!

I tried to buy it but the auction goes wild and sold for almost the value of a Sharp trackball.

But the seller wrote:

This is a modified version of the HORI TRACK trackball for Famicom so that it can be used with the X68000.
Since it is an ATARI standard connector, it seems that it can also be used with the PC-98 series (unconfirmed).

There was a remodeling article in the magazine at that time, and I remodeled it after seeing it.
I was playing x68k Marble Madness with this trackball.
Since it works like a mouse, you cannot use the cross-shaped button or the SELECT / START button.

The last picture in the auction seems to be some kind of instructions. (Maybe the copy of a mag?)I already translate it but it's only the first page. There is more....

I searched the Author name ("By Hiko Nakanishi") in both ocidental and oriental caracters. Nothing.

Anyone knows what magazine could be?

NFG

That's almost certainly Backup Technik or GameLab, but I think the former.  It'd be nice if they included the date, 'cause I have every issue of both those magazines here.   It's slightly too many to dig through randomly (though I am tempted!)

I didn't know about this mag. Nice stuff!

Imagine how valuable a magazine like this could be 30 years ago without the internet!
