It's been a long time....

Recently, I got this info while I surf the internet.

In this link you will find this manual is free. but a... if you are not familiar with Japanese language, your Chrome browser and translation tools will help.

Translated to English, there is blue button that says " I buy immediately (すぐに買う)". Click this button.

Now you are going to be a member of Galapagos store.

Fill the blanks

パスワード確認 : password confirmation

性別 : gender  男 : male 女 : female

and click "メールㅁ信(means "send mail") button.

Now check your email box, and you find confirmation mail from galapagos store.

Click the link in the email or Ctrl + C/Ctrl + V in the address box of the web browser.

then buy manual again.

windows version is 3rd orange box.

At the bottom of the next page, check the box "使用許諾契約の条項に同意します" and click the oragen box below. App. download starts.

Download ending, run the app. and enter the user ID informed to you from the confirmation email and password.

Then click the manual shaped box and wait until the ebook shows up.

Almost evey words translates well in the process of registration using Chrome browser, you are gonna have not much problem.

In the service manual. there are some good infos about power component and schematics and how to open X68000 and original accesories, etc.

Every thing is in Japanese but universal electronical symbols are there, too. So don't be afraid.

I came across this some time ago, but had forgotten why!

it is a shame the don't have more service manuals, I am currently looking for the service manual for X68030 tower model.
I can only guess no one has it, otherwise we would have it already in the ftp site!

Am I right in my assumption?

While we can use bits and pieces of info available, there will be always be something missing because the X68030 Tower is actually different than any other model. Its motherboard and daughter board uses smd components such as the compact models, but in the other hand, it is a modular system (such as all models newer than the original X68000).

Said that, the schematics has to be different!
And I could not find the schematics or service manual for this model.

How the heck can you save it to your desktop? I see no save feature.  Plus you can't print it out, PRINT SCREEN, or view it unless it's the main window..the text disappears if you view another window. Whoever wrote this program should go straight to hell lol..

I guess, they assumed you just look around the manual by their own viewer especially when you are on-line....
