Hello.

I have this XVI Compact booting from HD - GoverHD installed. It boots and current drive is B: after boot.

I has got four partitions, everything seems fine, but the floppy drives are not accessible... I can not see the drives, it is like the floppy drivers are not loaded.

Is it something configurable?

The leds goes green when I insert a diskette.
Bootig with OPT1 pressed, the floppy detects an invalid disk and ejects it - I really don't have any 3.25 bootable diskette right now.

thanks

 Hi Costa !

What happens when you disconnect the hard drive ?

Keep the scene alive !

Hi Eidis,

I did not want to open this XVI...  not yet.
I will be receiving a usb disk drive about tomorrow, so I can write 3.5 floppies. This way I can check if the floppies are working properly, and after that, I will get back to this issue.

thanks

Ops, my bad...

I moved (accidentally) that switch in the back of the compact that selects drive assignment for disk 0 and 1.
I was set to 2-3.

Once I moved to 0-1, the drives "appeared" as E: and F:
