Overclock Black N64

Im getting a black n64 in about a week and i was wondering as ive heard on mant forums to overclock the N64 u need a coloured n64 could i take the circuitboard out of a coloured one and put it in my black one and then overclock it

i want to do this cos i think the black looks nicer and is it possiblt to put RGB connector on a Pal n64
