I've got here 2 MD1 which I (badly, sadly and in a clumsy manner, FUCK ME) broken while I was modding them.
That said, they are not working anymore.
On one I short circuited the main Sega ASIC with a variable cap while I was dealing to get RF PAL60  :-X
On the second, I put gnd signal over the reset line. This one is the M5 PAL VA4 board, which works with a pullup resistor on the RST line (active high). While working on it, I soldered the /RST of the PIC16F630 (switchless mod) directly to the original RST line, making it go boom.
That said, I think the 1st has the main ASIC gone, the 2nd could have either the M68K or that damn chip which handles RST blown.
No video output either.

I can sell spare single parts (like Sony chips, DIN8, DC board, EMI filters or RF block).
