PVM-2030 white static lines

I wanted to see if the collective minds of this forum could help me figure out a small problem I've been having with my PVM-2030 recently.

I got this adapter: http://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/sony-pvm-scart-convertor

which has been working great, but lately I seem to be getting these  white static-ey lines that show up randomly and on different consoles. (I have an SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, N64, Gamecube, PS1, and PS2 all on SCART cables)

Sometimes they won't show up at all, other times they ostensibly show up during particular parts of a game. I have noticed, and I could be wrong, that the lines show up more with the newer consoles :PS2 and Gamecube, but it's still pretty random.

I've tried my NES on composite on the PVM-2030 and it doesn't get any lines so it's just on the RGB side. I'm kind of guessing it might be interference from something, but I have no idea what could be causing it.

I don't have a pic since they do kind of show up randomly, but I could try to catch some if it would help.

pic would help a lot.  Try playing without using the built in audio (just leave the RCAs unplugged).  I had a PVM years ago with grounding issues on the audio.  Also, the surface mount RGB caps can go bad over time in these, it causes a pinkish tint in the PVM-2930.  not sure about white lines though.
