can anyone help with a monitor lead for the x68000, to work with vga / svga monitor or crt tv.

And while I can't speak for the other guys here, I know it would cost more for you to buy a custom cable from me than it would to buy all the parts and all the tools and learn a valuable new skill, and do it yourself.  Perhaps though someone else is keen to lend you a hand.  =)

DB15 Male Connector Solder cup with plastic hood cover
HD15 Female Connector Solder cup with plastic hood cover
Flat ribbon IDC cable
