Is it possible to play a Famicom game on an NES without an adapter? Ive heard that the famicom games have fewer pins than the NES games. Thanks

lol..  saw one of those on ebay as a "rare official famicom nes adaptor" for US$20 plus $10 shipping.. someones getting ripped of:P
