I need to know what value fuse are used in the core grafx ?

Midori

The fuse itself only says 1A but the board completes that info by providing "125V 1A" :-)

bigsanta

Do you know if it's a slow or fast blow type?

Midori

Looks like a fast... But I'm no expert.

I switched mine for a fast one yesterday and its working fine for me.

Ok then ,just to be sure i've bought 10 fast and ten slow blow 1 amp fuses .

Midori

The original fuse is soldered in, I didn't try to solder a new one in. Does it work to solder a fuse? I got a feeling that the thread in the fuse would break because of the heat but I've thought strange things before :-)

I installed a fuse socket instead.

bigsanta

I've a few sockets lying about ,so if the low temperature soldering fails, i'll have a back up plan .
