Hi guys !

Thanks to JackLeather we have successfully confirmed that the AEC-7720U is compatible with X68000. Recently there have showed up a bunch of AEC-7720UW on eBay. If you take a look at wikipedia article about SCSI, they both use SCSI-3 SPI but according to the document AEC-7720U data bus is 8bit wide and uses IDC50 pin connector compared to AEC-7720UW which is 16bit wide and has 68-pin connector.

There is a HD68 to IDC50 adapter floating around on eBay so there is a slight chance that this could work. Please check the following links.

Right now the AEC-7720UW goes for 35.00$ and the converter for ~12$

So, are there any volunteers ? ;)

P.S. If someone was brave enough to try this out, please report your findings and help spread the word.
