Nintendo Multi-AV CONNECTOR?

Even though I have my strong doubts, I was curious if any known electronics dealer manufactures the proprietary connector that Nintendo used on their Super NES all the way to the Gamecube? Just to be clear, I am referring to the connector itself, sans the the cable attached with it. I would imagine a product like that would be beneficial if I wanted to terminate it with my own choice of cabling. Another obvious benefit would be that the user could bring out lines that aren't typically available on standard pre-terminated SCART configurations, such as the composite sync line (thus eliminating the need for a LM1881 or similar sync-stripper). If something like this is out there, please inform me! I can't find anything on the inter-webs suggesting there is.

A long time ago Redmond Cable used to build custom SNES cables (archived page here: http://www.connectworld.net/rcc/pages/game.html ). Might want to contact them to see if they had a source.

It's not a connetor standardized by ISO or JDEC or JIS or any other standards body.  The only source for these things would be the companies that produced 3rd party cables, and I doubt any of them are sitting on unused stock.  I'd say your only option is probably going to be re-using cheap cables. 

I bought a couple dozen original and 3rd party RGB cables years ago, and have been steadily going through them as I need to build one crazy thing or other.

maybe cheaper or less hassle, buy a third party rgb cable for sfc/n6/gc and use that to modify with your custom cables, ebay has many cables around US$6-10,

No one presses that connector out, eh? I sort of figured as much. Oh, and I did manage to get ahold of Redmond Cables some time ago and they no longer manufacture custom SNES cables...That's OK though, thanks anyway!

I think we've been over this before Zedrein    ... If you can carefully open an official composite or s-video cable, you can remove the pins and reconfigure to your desire.  Unfortunately this process is somewhat of a pain...  Perhaps if there was a tool to easily open the official SNES hoods... hrmmm...
