Alright, so I got the RGB mod done and the picture worked so I was pretty proud of myself. Although the picture wasn't as bright or stable as I wanted on my XRGB-3 so I decided to do this amp:

It didn't work haha. I think my fatal flaw was the transistors though. From looking at the picture I think that it reads Emitter, Collector, and Base Facing it from the flat side?
When I google the # of the transistor I get this http://www.toshiba.com/taec/components2/Datasheet_Sync//50/6455.pdf
It's telling me the lineup is the other way around if you look a little bit down on the right side.

So to make this more direct, how do I know what pin is what? I'm pretty new at this so maybe this is really dumb Haha. Thanks!

You are reading it wrong :-) It is just a schematic, which tells how the components should be connected to each other in theory. In practice the transistors for example will most likely have a different pinout which you have noticed. You will need to use the schematic to draw a diagram which tells you how to place the components.

I did this mod myself a while ago and I made this diagram for that:

You could use this as a base for your diagram, although note that I used BC337s instead of 1815s, so the pinout will probably be different.

Yeah, the datasheets for this transistor can be confusing... especially as some manufacturers flip the orientation of EBC and the datasheets seem ambiguous. :(  Does your Turbo Duo still output RGB?  When I built this circuit with the transistors backwards, it KILLED RGB OUTPUT...  All I can say is that I've built better RGB amps for the NEC "turdo" systems using a different circuit...  check the wiki... ;)

My RGB still works but I know I put the Transistors in wrong because when I switched them I now get an image, although it still sucks. It has clarity but it's kinda blue-ish. Also when I go to the Wiki it gives me a 404 message, I can't seem to get access to it.

Check your work. Then check your work. Then check your work again. If you are getting an image that is "too blue" then you must be lacking something else, probably your red is shorted out or not connected well, you might think everything is together and tight then spot something that is not done properly. The wiki seems to be up.
