Does any company make a multitap extender cable?

Controller extensions were made for most consoles.  Sadly you didn't specify which console you're looking for.  Multitaps were available for SNES, Genesis, TurboGrafx and Saturn, off the top of my head.

Any controller extension with all the pins should work just fine for you.

Normal extension cables won't work because the memory card slot won't be connected.

Aha, interesting.  I didn't know the PS2 tap had memory card slots too.  Neat!
