Not directly RGB, but my TV has 2x SCART sockets so....

My TV is having the image squeezed on right side... this means the Sawtooth signal that drives the horizontal deflection coil is not perfect ?

Anyway, what can cause it, dying cap ?

My TV has no pots in it, and there's nothing in the service menu that can do anything regarding this. I've seen such distortion on some other CRTs.

No fault is ever fixed by adjusting pots/service mode. The problem will be in the horizontal output section but it's hard to be more specific without more info. Check the solder joints as a first step. Sometimes the plastic capacitors in this section go open circuit causing linerity problems.

I pointed out the adjusting stuff because I have used on CRT monitor which had an control for that distortion...

I would have thought of electrolythic caps causing trouble....

In reality, electrolytic caps aren't as unreliable as people make them out to be.

Russian e-caps are ;)

whenever you get a russian amp or some other hifi, first thing you do is replace all the caps because they're all bad :P
