does any one know the amount of current either of these controller pull? I read somewhere that the n64 pulls 1.5 amps normal and 1 amp when rumble is applied (12 v). I just cant see that being right if it works from an lm117 ( regulator for 3.3v )being supplied from a 250 mA usb buss ( in the case or a usb to n64 adapter) . However, the lm117 will guarantee 1.5 amps, so it is possible from a 5 volt source that it regulates a lower voltage with a higher impedance. Although i think it would max out the bus and not have enough power to sustain the controller.

If you have the hardware it's easy to measure with a cheap multimeter...

I don't have an n64. I would rather have the official ampere rating then then from a 3rd part adapter.

update, my usb adapter show 22 mA, that seem right?  was thinking a bit more.
