N64 game has crippled sound

My International Superstar Soccer 2000 copy has this cracking and squeecking sound. I tested a few other N64 games, but no problem.
Any way I can fix this?

Try another copy of the game, and/or try the same copy on a different N64, and see what you get.  That will help yuo find the cause of the problem.

I could have sworn I replied here...
In any case, I don't have an other copy of ISS2000, but I do of '98 and that one works one.
Like said, I tried the game on two consoles with different tv's hooked on, so it seems to me it IS the cartridge...
