csync or composite for sync on a n64 or snes?

So I got a NTSC n64 that has the RGB tappable chip.  I'm looking to hook it up to my TV though Jrok's encoder here.  I'm planning to use the cable with my SNES also but I'm a bit confused on a few things:

First thing being can/or should the csync be used for the sync on this board or should I use a LM1881n in on the csync or the composite line?

Second question, I'm going to put the 220 caps on the RGB lines to filter the power for the SNES cable i'm making.  Would the same thing be good for a the RGB lines for a n64 cable also?

Last question, on the RGB lines for both systems would a 75ohm resistor on each of those lines be a good idea to drop down the signal before it hits the Jrok encoder?

Thanks for any help you guys can give.  I go shopping tomorrow for parts let me know what i need!

Am I missing something here?  You're going to RGB mod an N64 then convert the RGB back to composite/S-video?   I don't see how this would gain anything over using the existing N64 composite/S-video outputs.

At any rate the Jrok encoder accepts csync so if csync is present at pin 3 of the n64 video connector (as it is on the NTSC SNES) it can be used as is without an LM1881.

Whether or not you will need to caps for N64 video will depend on what video amp you use for N64 RGB.

Ah cool on the csync.  As for the encoder the Jrok board is a component video encoder also.  It will do composite and s-video off it too but mainly looking to get my stuff all over to component.  I was looking at on time to mess with a RGB monitor but I just don't have the room in my small apt for another setup.  I have a pretty decent sized TV that I figure will be good enough for me if I can just use the component video in for most of my stuff.
I got it working with my Neo-Geo and kinda with my Genesis 3 so now i'm working on my SNES and N64.
