SNES compact flash card

im curious if there is a format to ram readings and stuff especialy for compact flash ram cards, im sure there is because you can link it to a pciciomcdia card. but hell why not, some guy hooked up a hard drive and cd rom to a GBA why cant i do that with a snes ;P   i should cut down on my projects.....

Compact Flash uses the ATA protocol (same as harddrives), usually formated Fat16.
