I've been trying to add more leds (two) to my clear pelican controller for those up all night gaming events. I tryed soldering one in on the second board at LD206 with no luck, is it even possible? Was thinking about trying the rumble method, but if it's not gonna work why try right?

With such an obscure, specific request you might want to include more details.  What have you tried?  How did you find the best points to try?  Since it's unlikely someone else will just happend to have this identical controller, how about some pics?  

Basically, as far as I can tell, all PS* controllers have 3.3V and often 8V available for mucking around.  If you can't light up an LED with one or the other of these you're doing something very wrong.
