HI guys,

Just have a question. I know that some people have trouble playing the Gameboy Advance SP because it's so small. And i know that the Gameboy Adavance mirco is out. But has anybody tried to mod a GBA SP screen in a normal Gameboy advance?

Just wondering! I have a lot time on my hands.

                    Thanks!

I've installed the Afterburner backlit mod in my Gameboy Advance, but good luck finding one of those any more.  Ever since the SP was released the company stopped making them and they go for a fortune on Ebay.  Does the SP and the standard Advance even have the same screen size?

to MARCUS,

Do you mean to try to put one of the blacklite screen in a normal GBA. Or what?

Hello

It's been done before, try using google. Its only a matter of fitting the screen and then tapping the proper power source. Also its front lit not back lit. I did this mod to my NGPC and works great, just had to do A LOT of trimming.

Buy a copy of make magazine no5.  It shows you how to do it with a $5 budget.

Anyone here got experience or info on the HALO light / Stick-on Light?

Seems like an ok alternative.
