X68000 keyboard gone mad

I have a problem that is driving me crazy. Up until yesterday my x68000 Super was working properly, letting me play games via floppy and scsi without any problems. this morning I turn it on and when loading the master disk (the internal battery is dead), pressing the keys generates strings of characters as soon as I try to type my usual "switch". Character strings such as QWERTY by pressing the q, or asdfg by pressing the S. Then the keys with illumination such as romanji sometimes remain illuminated, generating additional character strings. This doesn't make sense, the very last thing I tried last night before switching off was to try loading Die Bahnwelt via SCSI by holding down f1 to make it start, whereupon the computer asked me to abort the printing procedure (?).

What I tried:

1) launching the games via floppy: they work regularly, and the lighted keys remain off. However, the keyboard control is wrong, it seems that some keys are pressed simultaneously.
2) launching Cotton: the 'show' of the keyboard lighting up starts without a problem.
3) Shut down the computer, unplug the power, unplug the keyboard, unplug the scsi cable, plug everything back in, but to no avail.
4) Open the keyboard, clean off dust and dirt. Reconnecting only the keyboard without the keys, however, the LEDs still remained lit.

I can't figure out whether the problem stems from the keyboard deciding to abandon me or from the computer. Any ideas?

SOLVED

I found a guy on facebook that kindly pointed me to the solution. On the PCB there is the upper-right zone with some welds; pressing the first two solved the problem. Probably a weld has deteriorated over the years, accentuated by the stresses caused by the dirt I cleaned during the first analysis. I will have to make a new one at this point.
