My Dreamcast seemed to have developed a strange problem a while ago,
When I switch it on, sometimes it shows a black screen, then a  few minutes later it goes away, then the Spiral Shows with the DC logo underneath it, then, if a game is in it will begin to load, and if no game is in it will go to the BIOS menu, but no-matter what (whether there is a game or not) the screen blanks out again in about 12 seconds...
And sometimes it boots, shows the Spiral, then shows a black screen (other than that, the Dreamcast is "on", albeit in a comotose manner)...

This is very strange :huh:   I've never heard of anyone with this problem before,
the problem sorted itself out in the early hours of thismorning, but I thought I'd post it anyway, just to see if any of you guys knew what was the cause of it?
As, my dreamcast isn't modded... So a highly doubt it could be a "short". :blink:

So you didnt rip out any shielding or heat sinkage?
