Ooh. How well do you think that will stand up to abuse? I suspect that PLA has about the same lifespan as ABS in terms of how many cycles before it wears down or deforms. This is by way of saying I wonder if some metal crossbeams to shore it up might also be worthwhile.

I am overthinking this.

Yeah I dunno.  I guess one could use different materials to make it more durable?  But one could also just print another one when this goes full circular.
