hello everyone! Recommend a circuit to install rgbs for CRT TV.
Using lm1207n video amplifier driver chip, as long as it is 15K interlaced CRT, it can be modified!

When it applies to hardware that's generally available in the United States, I usually counsel against attempting to add RGB input. This isn't a problem for CRTs that were sold in and around Europe since the SCART connector provided an easy way to access RGB input lines when they were available. But for most NTSC screens, no matter the refresh rate there was still likely to be extra circuitry related to proprietary raster or color tech that would get in the way of input modification.

That's not to say that it's impossible to add RGB input to a CRT in the Americas. But given the time you'd spend and the expense of doing so, it's almost always a better option to get a Multisync monitor or a screen from the EU region that supports both NTSC and PAL signals.

What's your interest in adding RGB input, if I may ask? In this modern HDMI era (and with the advent of $100 upscalers that accept almost any input) it doesn't seem like something that hobbyist game modification enthusiasts would care to do unless they're also arcade operators.

I have a lot of old CRTs for civilian use and they are cheap. Professional color monitors work well, but they are very expensive, so it's fun to try to transform the old CRT TV.

Ive had a circuit idea like this in my head for a long time, even made some preliminary schematics wih LM1203N.  But you finished it?

Have you tested it yet / made a PCB?  I think its a great project for reviving and recycling CRTs.

Regarding safety, yes, you need to use special precautions so you don't hurt or kill yourself.  Discharge, insulated rubber gloves, etc.  But that doesnt make this less awesome to share - thank you!!
