Hello. My Sharp X68k Super (which I always call it Expert, because it is actually a reproduction of the latter), showed the general error at power up, until I put all the memory card switches off. I no longer have the manual for this card, so I have not marked the last working configuration of the swithces.

Does anyone have a clear pattern of how I have to set the S1 and S2 switches to make it back to 10 mega without error?

The memory card model is XSIMM10, and the associated scsi card is the CZ-6BS1 (which it is not in the forum guide).

I need to find the same thing for an XSIMM10ss PC0077 if anyone has them?

You're right, there is not much technical info about this sim.

Something about it is written in these two links:

I set mine through this NFG guide:

https://gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=x68000:x68000_faq

For example, I don't know if I set my XSIMM10 regularly, however when I set the switch.x to 12 mega, the mtest.x gave me the unexpected error. When I put the switch.x to 10 megs, the mtest.x gave me everything ok! Now Street Fighter II Champion edition (4 FD), loads it in one step and then no longer asks to insert floppies... so I did the tests! Indeed my XSIMM10 isn't 10 megs, but it's 8 megs + 2 megs built in.

This is the only other place I've seen with the PC0077:

But the images are fairly terrible, and there's nothing of the manual. I did once find a site that had photocopies of the manual, but they were horribly watermarked with the site logo and I can't even find that now!

This is mine:

Actually, just looking at that site again, and it was in fact he (she?) who had the XSIMM10ss manual scans:

I need to re-read through them, I don't quite know what the mapping is yet.

Hello. How did your search for the settings of your XSIMM PC0077. Have you solved it? Maybe the settings of this ram model in this site is not there because setting could be the same as the PC0057. Maybe at the time they only changed the acronym when they reproduced it. You can try with the settings of the switches that I posted and those that are in the guide of this site. The Sharp X68K risks being spoiled only over time or when special hardware changes are made! Besides those two extra slots in the PC0077, it looks very similar as the PC0057!

I'm not sure about that - the layout and configuration of the XSIMM10ss is quite different due to the fact it has 2x seperate 32bit 72pin slots in addition to the 2x 16bit 30pin slots, so the amount of configuration variation compared to the older board with the 4x 30pin slots is quite substantial.

However, that being said, it appears, from the images I found above, that by far the easiest way to populate the XSIMM10ss is to fit a single 16MB 72pin SIMM in slot A (physically the middle slot on the board). The docs look like you can fit a single 16MB module in that one slot, then set dip switches:

(G) 0111, (A) 0001

... and it populates the rest of the 10MB address space. That's much easier than fitting a couple of 30pins, a 72pin, or several 72pin modules. I found a 16MB module in my bag of old RAM, and I'll give it a go once I complete the resurrection of my X68000 Pro.
