Not my listing but I purchased this before and it works GREAT.   Figured some might want a good solution for their X68K

This is how I've been connecting a pad to my XVI since I got it in December...

Really useful, and inexpensive. Autofire always useful to have...

Hi

Thanks for the tip.

Can someone please test if a snes mouse can be recognize in X68000?

I read the manual and snes mouse works as a MSX mouse....

Mouse
The SNES mouse is detected automatically when plugged and it is used as an MSX mouse.
However, there are a few software that work less well than with a real MSX mouse.
The mouse can also be used as a joystick like MSX and FM-Towns by pressing the left button
when turning ON the MSX.

it seems a a good solution, do you think it is ok to play games like SSF2 and on? I have been desperately looking for a solution to be able to play games that require more than the usual MSX/X68K 2-button joyopad....Or the only way is to buy the Capcom Stick aling with its adaptor though....
thanks for your suggestion/help mates...

This adaptor does not allow you to get more than two-button functionality. It simply adapts the SNES controller as a two-button one.

If you want a 6-button controller, the cheapest way would be to rewire a 6-button Mega Drive controller.

I see...I have never done it but I'll have a look at it...
thanks

I noticed there was some extended functionality option which would allow you to use the individual buttons rather than having auto-fire and such. Enabled this mode, but were unsuccessful with using it as a 6-button controller. It still didn't work.

Hopefully me or Spitko winds up with a device we can all use soon... I'm busy right now but I'll get back to it soon.

Received mine today.

X68000
Didn't work as mouse
Didn't allow to use 6 buttons even with extended mode enable (at least I couldn't)

Fm towns
Works as mouse!  8)
Didn't allow to use 6 buttons even with extended mode enable (at least I couldn't)

Even with these flaws, a great adapter. Better yet for people like me that prefer the snes controller  ;)

Does autofire mean the same as turbo/rapid fire? I've seen some controllers where there was turbo and a mode that autofired without pressing the button.

You are right. This one have turbo/rapid fire.

Thanks, buying one of these adapters now!
