I just want to take a moment and share my appreciation of this site, and especially the hard work Lawrence has done to keep it going all these years.

I first started soldering in 2003 when I dropped my Sega Nomad screen onto the spoke of a metal chair.  The LCD shattered in half, but I could still see an image.

"Now I can try that import mod I saw online!"

[goes to gamesx.com] "doesn't look too bad!"

[goes to radioshack and buys a $5.99 soldering iron and solder]

I got the mod working, with 24AWG solid core wire, LOL.  And I've never looked back.

Today I'm an electrical engineer designing PCBs in CADsoft and teaching classes.  So thanks Gamesx.com for being here and sticking around all these years.
I love the community here and the wealth of knowledge.  Just this week I was using the controller wiki section to design my new PCE adapter board.

Rock on Gamesx/nfgames!
