I am looking for the video pinout of the Yeno Super Cassette Vision (thats the PAL version). The console comes only with a scart conector, and i have no way of conecting that to my tv. My tv has conections for composite, rf, s-video, and component. So i was hoping to be able to get video for one of those types. Thanks in advance.

Don't know much about the European Yeno version, but here's the pinout for the original Japanese SCV.

The Japanese original outputs only in RGB and RF.  If the Yeno has no RF unit, I'd assume they couldn't be bothered to due an NTSC->PAL RF conversion and just sold it as an RGB only machine.

If you have a SCART cable a simple SCART->Component transcoder should work.  The SCV outputs a fairly shaky RGB signal and a lot of modern devices (such as Sony Wegas/Trinitrons) do not sync to it.

Seems like i will finally have to get a scart to component transcoder as you say Deadite. Would you recomend any in particular?

SuperDeadite

I stick to the Japanese side of things, no hands on experience with SCART based devices myself.

I can tell you that the SCV transcodes to component beautifully on my X Select D4, but that is probably not a realistic option for most people.

Yeah, the X Select D4 is out of my price range for now. Thanks for the recomendation.

I finally bought a SCART to Component converter, and like SuperDeadite mentioned, the SCV RGB image is a bit shaky. Still quit better than the RF image from the japanese image i used to own. I wonder if there is some solution to the slightly shaky image...
