16 Bit Import

Hello again,

I'm interested in picking up a Wells-Gardner d9200 digital universal monitor. For more information see here:

http://www.wellsgardner.com/wellsgardner31....cfm?itemid=675

The spec sheet says it has the following CGA/EGA input: "0.156 center header". Does anyone have information on this type of connector? Anyone have a pinout? Where can I find this type of jack so that I can customize an RGB cable to connect to this monitor?

Thanks everybody.

Wells Gardner makes RGB monitors suitable for console use but the link you gave is not one of them--CGA and EGA are digital RGB broadcasts, and the monitor you linked to says it is a digital monitor as well. Look again and make sure you find an analogue RGB monitor that can sync at 15KHz.

The D9200 is actually one of the most compatible monitors with various different consoles out there.
It's one of the few monitors that can do both 15.75khz Analog RGB as well as VGA.
The specs say that it has a Horizontal Sync Frequency of 15.75khz to 31.5khz.
It's one of the few monitors where you can hook up a Sega Master System via RGB and yet also hook up a Dreamcast or Gamecube via VGA.

Hmm, I didn't look at the PDF which tells us what you need. Looks like it's a good one but the rest of the site refers to its CGA/EGA modes--which is a sure sign of what you do not need.

I see. What input (connector) does it use for analog RGB? Thanks.
