Question regarding the N64 2xIC RGB Mod

Hi,
I bought a US N64 with a NUS Chip in it and I was thinking about doing the RGB Mod - and actually decided on doing it. http://www.gamesx.com/wiki/doku.php?id=av:n64rgb-amp
As I'm done with soldering the Veroboard (damn, bought SMD NJM2267...) and  preparing the wiring, I have two questions before connecting everything:
1.) Can I use the same VCC/Ground Source (in my case C130 as shown on Bakus site) for both ICs? Or do I have to use different sources for each of the VCC and Grounds? http://translate.google.de/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fbaku.homeunix.net%2FRGB%2FNintendo64%2FNintendo64.html&sl=ja&tl=en&hl=&ie=UTF-8
2.) And instead of taking the RGB signal from C124,C125 and C126, can I just use the PINs (17, 19, 21) from the VDC-NUS without lifting the legs?

I hope someone can answer me my two questions, so I could finish the mod tomorrow. :D

Edit: Just did it today and... got a RGB signal, problem: Everything is _purple_. Checked all connections and pins, but nothing seems wrong. Could it be that I got a wrong IC? The label says 2267 A0458 JRC. (I don't think that my 10% tolerance 1M Ohm resistor could be a problem?)
And is it normal that I don't even get S-Video or Composite anymore? (Just a black screen)
