I am new to posting, so forgive me if this is against forum rules.
I am not too knowledgeable on this, and apologize profusely if wasting everyone's time, but I've received a Sharp X1 Twin (CZ-830) that will not power on.
After opening, I think that the power supply has gone bad. I opened up another X1 with a known working supply, and connected the floppy connector to the drive inside the Twin and the Twin's drive came on.
Unfortunately, I am about the last person on Earth that you want to hand any soldering supplies to based on past experience, and I don't want to risk damaging further/destroying such rare equipment.
On that note, is there anyone here who might be willing to take a look or help out? This includes if you might have another power supply I could use.
There is no hurry to this. If photos are needed, please do let me know, and thank you all for your help!
