Hi, here new FM-TOWNS owner.
A wile ago got a FM Towns II Fresh ET computer.
The system works great already replaced the CMOS battery and installed an ZULUSCSI internal drive.
Also the internal cdrom drive is dead using now and external scsi cdrom and fd-boot floppy to play games.

Could like to install windows 95 onto the scsi hard drive anyone can point me out on how this is done ?, don't seem to find any good information on how to do this and what iso image i should use for this.

Hi - I'm new too. I have a bunch of FM-Towns machines that I'm about to try and get working - including recapping CD-ROM and PSUs, servicing the floppy drives and replacing the missing SCSI HDDs. It seems english guides and instructions to restoring these machines are hard to come by?

Indeed don't seem to be any complete guide to install Windows 95.
The more productive one that i has seen in japanese shows that first install dos and windows 3.1 and then update to windows 95 from windows 3.1.

But not sure if this is the best method.

Managed to install dos 620 + windows 311 and windows 95 it was not that hard, but to make it easy if somebody likes uploaded the hd image to archive.org.

Config details there:

Thanks for sharing, going to mess around with this whenever I have a chance (probably not for a while...)

Any benefits to running Win95 that you've found?

Not much is plain old windows 95.
What i learn was that you can't run "normal" dos programs not on dos mode nor inside windows dos vm, all games crash.
I was expecting that DOS/V was 100% normal dos compatible but is not the case.
Maybe something cool is hearing to .mids they play using the FM chip on the computer and sound different.
