I prefer more modern LCD rather than plasma because they are power hungry monsters. It can be any era, from 2000s or 2010s or anything modern and minimum 30 inch. Aspect ratio doesn't matter. You say Sony and Panasonic are good choices? Sadly I've never had a chance to try LCDs of these brands. Hey, has anyone tried any LCD produced by...... Sharp? This should work perfectly..... right??

I've got the Std OSSC and it works well but if I have one issue its that I can only use one LCD screen that is compatible with all of those wonky resolutions. I want the freedom of moving my setup to the larger screens in my house but they are incompatible.

I want to plug my x68K into the OSSC Pro and convert/scale the signal to a standard 1080P image. is the OSSC Pro the way to go? I can't seem to find any testimonials that make this clear.

The ossc pro has a line multiplier mode similar to the original ossc, and a scaler mode that has a full frame buffer. This will introduce some lag, not as much as the xpc-4 from what I've seen, but if nothing else the scaler mode should work fine for you on your 1080p display.

Only Retrotink 4K or OSSC Pro will work on the X68000 on any TV or monitor, but considering the price I would suggest you the OSSC Pro.

You can attach a DSC301 from Extron behind the OSSC to get 1080P60.
This was my Workaround till i got the OSSC Pro.

The OSSC Pro can also downscale to 240P to use a CRT TV.

So I did buy the OSSC Pro and yeah...works well. Now I just need to figure out all the bells and whistles and how it operates. Like it's predecessor, it's not the most intuitive device.

As far as I remeber you just need to adjust the crop of top and bottom areas.
