Program to send SysEx Midi messages? (MT32-Pi)

Recently got a nice Pi-Midi Raspberry Pi hat from Arananet https://www.arananet.net/pedidos/product/pi-midi-a-baremetal-mt32-emulator-using-raspberry-pi3-preorder/ to use with MT32-Pi from Dale Whinham https://github.com/dwhinham/mt32-pi

This allows you to emulate MT32 & GS midi. You can switch between modes using System Exclusive messages Midi messages. Somebody knows how I can send these from the X68000 towards the Pi-Midi?

Would Zmusic be an option? Without needing to program could I run a command line based "midi player" which I tell the sysex messages to send to the midi device?
