Using Iomega JAZ on SASI

Hi. Does SxSI work as generic scsi driver that I don't need any additional drives for scsi devices? I intend to use my Iomega JAZ because that's the easiest media to exchange files between modern computer and old scsi devices. What about the disc sizes, does it recognize 1Gb JAZ or do I need to make partitions?

My X68000 is PRO model.
