Cotton install issue

i install the game on the hdd. i have a x68000 Expert HD.

i typed the command line to install saw in the manual. "cotins b: c:
i see it is installing. when it's done, i go in the folder and type "cot" to start the game and it give me a japanese message with the word LZX

Then i try to boot the game from the floppy when i restart the machine. the music play then i have this message with a prompt i can enter a command:

This game requires more than 2MB of RAM if you want to run it from HDD. Try running switch.x and make sure that the correct amount of RAM is selected. I vaguely remember that this game likes to randomly clear SRAM.

Nice, thanks. yeah when i went in switch, i saw the memory was at 1024k so i change it to 2048k and now it is working. don't know why it was set to 1mb.
