Have you recapped the mainboard or power supply on the unit?

Good lot of stuff btw.

Did not touch the caps, so I have no idea if they were recapped or not. I know it works fine right now.
I was under the impression that the compact PSU was a bit more robust, comparatively speaking.

The XVI Compact has mainboard cap rot problems just like a lot of other things of it's vintage and it's always a good idea to get them replaced.

Bought an expensive PCB and need to ease the pain on it, haha.
But now that I know how the system works, it may be easier to get back into it at some point in the future,
when I have piles of money just growing on trees.
