Pc Engine GT Screen Fault?

Hi I have a Pc Engine GT and all seems ok apart from that when you switch the GT on it takes a little bit for the screen to brighten up enough to be able to see it. I think this could be down to a faulty capacitor or component inside the unit.

Anything would be cool.

hi,theres a 4.7uf 35v cap at the edge of the board opposite the switch side. Thats the culprit for screen loss like that. Theres a tutorial over at pcfx:
