I finally purchased a x68k and now need to figure out what I will do about monitors. My priority is to find a solution that doesn't require buying a old and heavy monitor.

I got a VGA capable LCD TV that I want to try before I purchase something like Ambery converter. I've never made a cable before so my first idea is to try to find a RGB to VGA cable to buy. Is there such a thing?

If not, is there any guide that would help a newbie get this thing done?

Thanks

 Hi !

Here are the pinouts. You can purchase the connectors at your local radio shack.

And here's an old post of Lawrence:

"Just connect the dots: Red to Red, Green to Green, etc.  You need:

RGB, H + V Sync, Ground.  Connect all the grounds you can find.

That's it!  You don't need audio 'cause the X68 has a stereo headphone jack on the front. "

Best of luck !

P.S. I have made several video cables for my personal computers and had good results when using UTP 5CAT cable. If possible, buy the shielded one.
X68000 personal computer is called, "X68K" or "no good good" is called, is the PC that are loved by many people today.
