I good mate of mine had a Panasonic Q, Jap DVD/Gamecube combo device, really nice.
I always said to him that if he ever got bored I would take it off his hands.

Silly sod bought me a DEAD unit of ebay.

I replaced some of the flat ribbons but it just gives me an F76 error and shuts down.

Anyone any ideas? anyone in UK help me out get this beauty running again!!!

Looking at it someone had tried to CHIP the unit, but the flat ribbons are quite delicate and had broken where the ribbons fold over, I managed to get some from a Korean Ebayer, but they were not shielded, still every now and again it will start to boot but eventually gives the F76 error.

Cheers
Ralph

I once sent mine back to Play-Asia and they fixed it for me. I bought it there and I only had to pay for shipping. Man, I was so happy about that   ^^
Saurian from Bordersdown (ntsc-uk) was also a big help to a lot of people, concerning the Panasonic Q.
