audio authority help! composite sync to h v sync?

i just bought a audio authority vga to component converter. some member on this form said a friend has one and it worked great.
but i have had no luck. it seem there is a problem with the sync signal.
i made a 9 to 15 pin adapter to make my game systems rgb plug into its vga input.
i know a vga crt needs a h v sync but a game system does not work like that.
i think ttl sync stripper would do the trick.
i need to take the composite sync and split it into a h and v sync.
then run those into the vga to component converter.
any 1 have info on a circuit that will do this for a good price.

will this do the trick? they say ithe input needs to be a 30khz  composite sync. dont it need to be 15khz?

Yep that one you mentioned won't work if their spec is correct. Basically it should work with a lesser frequency of 15kHz but it needs to be tested, but for $50 .  I would just build the LM1881 circuit. It is very simple all you need is two capacitors at .1uf, a 680kOhm resistor and a 5V power source(usually from the console AV port or external wall adapter). You can get all of these at mouser.com, digikey.com, or newark.com. You can get the PCB board in Radio Shack.
