FS/FT, Two 15KHz RGB CRT monitors

Okay guys, I have in my possession the following:

One Sony PVM 2530 27" CRT
RGB input is via a DB-25 port. The unit also has S-video in/out, and composite in/out via BNC. Audio in/out is there via BNC as well but I have never used it. The lone issue with this CRT is a curled image which is rather isolated near the top right of the screen. I've been told by several people that I can probably fix this if I open it up and root around for some geometry controls, but there is one very simple reason I haven't done this--I just can't be assed.

One Commodore 1084 14" CRT
This is the older, USA-style 1084 monitor with RGB input via an 8-pin DIN socket (I think? 9 maybe?) Perhaps 15 years ago a capacitor failed which was replaced. It has worked like a champ since then, although I can only say that it saw perhaps 1 year's use at most after that simple repair.

So now, what do I want for this stuff? Hell if I know. At this point I'd just a. rather they were out of my house and b. rather they were spared from the dump or another untimely, ungamely death at an electronic recycle centre. I have actually attempted to give these away to gamers that I knew would use them in the past, which just never worked out for one reason or another. The 1084 is an easy matter to ship and could likely be done without much expense. The 2530 on the other hand is a huge, steel-cased industrial monitor weighing somewhere around or over 100 pounds, so should it require third-party transport you are talking about freight shipping (expensive).

The good news is, I'm honestly not actively seeking to make much if any money at all on these items. If you have the means to fetch these from my location in Miami then you could have either or both for a song. So how about it, anybody wants?

The PVM probably needs a cap job done on it. No display just goes like that and is fixed with adjustment of a pot. (My TV in the living room is starting to go weird in a similar fashion). I couldn't be bothered repairing the TV, because frankly it sucks (RF input only). I'll just pick another one up cheap, the damn thing is a "Treehouse Box" anyway.

I don't know how capable that display is, but I bet if you put it up on Craigslist or something, someone looking for a tube replacement for one of their arcade monitors will snatch it up. Or someone who wants to repair it. If I was local I would take it, my money would be on capacitors tied to vertical deflection or cut off.

1084 is sought after for many uses, and I bet someone here that was local to you would probably be interested. Otherwise, sell it, someone will buy it!

Over the past few years I've had a fair amount of TVs which work well except for a fault in non-critical section (audio, tuner, OSD, remote control, etc) which wasn't economical to repair. They could have made fine video game monitors and most even had RGB SCART inputs.

Unfortunately, I'd been mostly unsuccessful in tyring to find homes for them. Couldn't give them away. Now when I have something like this I just send it off to the tip without a second thought.

Just too bad you guys don't live near me, I'd snatch that stuff up in a heartbeat. I have no problem tearing a TV apart to recap it.
