I'm trying to build a digital audio mod for the genesis 2.
I've seen discussions on the forom about the laseractive outputting digital audio from the 315-5660 chip. I assume this means it's possible to mod the genesis 2 for digital audio. I looked over the chip on the genesis 2 board and found the following 23 pins aren't connected.

14
17-19
21-24
58
80-90
109-111

I'm assuming some of these pins are clock lines and data output for digital audio. Can anyone rule some of these out? If somebody has a laseractive sega module could you see if any of the above pins are connected?
Oh I wish I had an oscilliscope, that would make things so much easier :-(

Thanks in advance for any knowledge you can throw my way.

Oh and Lawrence thanks for the encouragement, I'm glad I can contibute to gamesx!

Just an update, I took a look at all the unused pins coming from the 315-5660 with a multimeter with frequency measurement. None of them appear to be clock lines.

So so far no digital audio for the genesis 2.
I guess I'll have to get a laseractive someday and see how it's put together.
