PS2 Import Mod

Does anyone know of a way to play import games without a modchip, is there any kind of BIOS mod that can be done, or use PS2 Linux to reprogram the BIOS somehow.

If you have an older Playstation 2, just either install a cover, use the knife trick or a internal swap mod and run a Magic Swap CD or HDAdvance if you want to play import games.

If you have a newer PStwo, I think you can just cap some inside notches and just swap ala a PSone with Magic Swap but there is more involved than the PSone solution.

Shame this recent generation requires software discs instead of dongles or carts
