Using a floppy emulator with Towns Fresh EA model

Here to report I have used a flash floppy firmware gotek with a Towns SE12 model successfully! It's in the EA family of PC so I'm uncertain if the other fresh models will work. Tower and UX/UG/UR need an adaptor board that I'm currently evaluating.


The gotek requires zero additional files on the thumb drive. I've dragged and dropped the neo Kobe set on the flash drive which is of course less than 1gb. Floppy that require BOTH slots to be used have been tested successfully as seen in my link below. I also tested dinosaur very excellent title.


I'm running into only one problem is that columns won't load and the copy protection kicks in. I would be delighted if anybody has a solution to this problem. I have a feeling any other problematic titles w
